(Nasdaq: ATAR), one of the world’s most recognized brands and a third-party video game publisher and distributor, and Valve today announced an agreement to bring a variety of PC games from the Atari catalog to Steam, a leading platform for the delivery and management of PC games and digital content with over 15 million accounts around the world. It’s a shame they didn’t just use it as the actual commercial for the game, because nothing gets you in the buying mood quite like murderous roller coasters. If my second choice has you questioning my taste in games, I’m almost positive that the embedded video will convince you otherwise. The first was Indigo Prophecy, for obvious reasons, and the other was Roller Coaster Tycoon 3: Platinum. Out of all the Atari games to hit Steam, there were really only two that stood out to me.
